Mercedes C280 - Wash & Protect

 

Got an email from a new client asking to restore his mom's Mercedes C280. The client told me that the car needed a full exterior detail, including the use of clay and the application of wax/sealant. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the car was covered with tar and bug. The pearl white paint was not popping due to the build up of contaminants on the car. After years of improper washing and waxing from other shops, the client decided to give us a try. After using the best techniques/products on the market, the client was satisfied and promised to come back again! 

 

Procedure

 

The wheels were cleaned using Sonax Full Effect 

Tires were cleaned using Chemical Guys Diablo

The whole car was rinsed using a foam lancer

The car was washed with Adams Car Shampoo

Iron X used to decontaminate paint

Clay bar used for severe, stubborn panels 

Paint assessed

1Z Einszett Glanz Wax applied for protection

Interior & exterior glass cleaned using Sonax Glass Cleaner
