Audi S4 - Paint Correction

 

The client wanted a full restoration on his car. Scratches and swirls were evident on the whole vehicle. The plastic trim pieces, along with the side pillars were badly swirled and scratched up. Using the Sonax lineup, the car came out great and the client was satisfied.

 

Procedure

 

The wheels were cleaned using Sonax Full Effect 

Tires were cleaned using Chemical Guys Diablo

The whole car was rinsed using a foam lance

The car was washed with Optimum Car Wash

NanoSkin Mitt used to decontaminate paint

Clay bar used for severe, stubborn panels 

Paint assessed and masked

Meguires 105 compound used to remove severe defects in the paint

Sonax Perfect Finish 4/6 used to polish the paint

Diluted 50/50 isopropyl alcohol used on paint to remove leftover oil from polishing before applying on protection

Natural light and Rupes Pen used to inspect corrected paint

Auto Finesse Illusion hand wax applied for protection

Interior & exterior glass cleaned using Sonax Glass Cleaner
